The route
Lisbon often has more flights and better connections than Faro, but the Algarve is still about 260 km away. By car it is around three hours on the A2 motorway, across the Tagus and down through the Alentejo plains, straight to your address.
The alternatives mean a transfer to the station or bus terminal, a train or coach to Faro or Albufeira, and another taxi at the end. With a private transfer you leave the terminal, sit down in the car and next get out at your hotel.
